A new addition to our location/directions page: QR Code

The TTC location / directions page has long had a variety of ways to help you find us, including a live Google map, GPS coordinates, longitude & latitude, and photos to accompany the directions.

We’ve now added a QR Code:

TTC Location QR Code

Scan the QR code above into your smartphone to quickly take the TTC Google map with you.

What’s a QR Code?

TTC social media sidebar

There’s now a “Follow the TTC” widget on our upper left sidebar that contains 6 icons, all clickable, with a line of text underneath them that reads:

“Follow the TTC blog via email or RSS; view us on YouTube & Picasaweb; follow us on Twitter & Facebook.”

Follow the TTC on Twitter

ttc-twitter-sshot

The Trials Training Center is now on Twitter. Follow us to keep track of our TTC blog and other trials-related news items.

And if you follow us, we’ll likely follow you if you tweet regularly about trials.  And if we see something you tweet that we like, we’ll retweet it to our followers.

We’ve starting using the hashtag #motorcycletrials for most of our tweets so consider doing likewise whenever you tweet about trials.

The TTC has a Facebook fan page

ttc-fb-sshot We now have a Trials Training Center Facebook Fan Page. If you’re a Facebook regular, you might prefer to use our Facebook page to:

  • Keep track of TTC blog posts
  • Post links, photos, videos, news to our Wall
  • Interact with TTC staff and fellow motorcycle trials enthusiasts

Let us know what suggestions you have to make the Page better.

TTC blog now optimized for mobile devices

TTC blog on a G1 smartphoneTTC blog post on a G1 smartphoneI’ve installed a WordPress plugin here so that viewing this TTC blog is much easier/faster when using the iPhone, iPod touch, Android (Google), and BlackBerry touch mobile devices.

Comments are visible after clicking on any post and you can add a comment as well. The best way to keep track of comments, however, is to use an RSS reader app on your device and subscribe to our comments RSS feed. Then if you see a comment that you’d like to comment on, click the link to the comment. It will activate the mobile-optimized view of the web page and position you for typing in your comment.

How to Ride tutorials finished

The upgrade to the How to Ride Motorcycle Trials (tutorials) section of the TTC website is now finished. Whew!

We improved the presentation of all the good stuff from the 2004-05 version and added lots more.

Let us know if you discover any glitches.

And if you have suggestions on how we can improve any of it, attach a comment here, or use our contact us form.
