Hope to see a good turnout for our next two work weekends, which will be on:
Nov. 19/20 (the weekend after the Gadsden STRA event)
Dec. 3/4
our FIM visitors are coming to inspect us around the 2nd week in Dec. so let's make a good showing of effort between now & then. We are getting a bulldozer in soon to do some heavy clearing and also some grading & drainage improvements for the paddock area.
regards,
Dan

A big time was had by all last weekend at TTC, with 80 riders each of the 2 days attending from Minnesota to Florida. Saturday had all the flavor of a national, with Bruce LeRiche and Chris Florin doing battle for top honors on some tough champ lines, Bruce came on top 26 to 40. Also competing were Diego Ordonez, 16 yr old top rider from Guatemala and Will Ibsen our national Youth Champ, both of whom had a hard day. Both were over 100 pts but smiling as these kids enjoy being challenged and competing! Sunday was an easy win for Chris as Bruce fulfilled his STRA observer duty. Besides Diego & Will, there were lots more good young riders in the 15-16 ages including Alex Bedley (rode champ on Sunday), Cody Manning (Expert winner Sunday), Nathan Glinski (Expert podium), Ronnie Commo, and Matt Cullum (Expert podium).
Sunday included a long killer loop in the TTC tradition, which was ridden by several youngsters (including several 7, 8, and 9 year olds) on 50cc to 80cc trials bikes. So whining about the long tough loop from grownups GETS NO SYMPATHY!
Look out America, there's lots of young talent on the boil!
Full results will be up in a few days on the
STRA website

From Kevin Thompson:
My wife and I recently took the "trials for a day" course and stayed in one of your cabins. Charlie and Alex were the best! This was one of the absolutely best learning experiences we have ever had. We are both excited to have so much stuff to practice now. The atmosphere of the TTC was great as well. We'll be back for more! Thanks again.

We now have all the section locations picked out and 4 of the sections cleared. We've been clearing out all the underbrush and leaving the big trees so that we'll have a nice clear area but still with a canopy of shade overhead.
We're setting out the sections to be spectacular but also very spectator friendly and located so that a large crowd can easily see the riding. It's gonna be fantastic!
Thanks to everyone who has come helped out, and to everyone who'll be coming for future work weekends as there is really quite a lot to do yet.
