Exciting news here, mark your calendar for May 19/21, 2006! We have much to do and plan to get started with a work weekend coming up this Sept. 17/18 to do some clearing for sections in the creekbed while it is dry and maybe we can pile the brush in the creekbed and burn it. We need to clear out lots of small trees so that spectators will have a good view of the action. Bring a chainsaw if you have one. Cabins are available for use if you can stay over.

Hi all,
just back after a wonderful trip to the British World Round at Hawkestone Park, the famous motocross circuit that has been host to 50 years of championship competitions. This visit was a scouting mission in preparation for our future STRA event and I met with the FIM officials and learned a lot about the organization of such an undertaking. Then Greg Clark & I had a great ride on street bikes for a few days. If you're curious about what a crowd of 8000 spectators at a world round looks like, check out the photos in the
gallery. -dan
